courtney: NO NO you misunderstand...I don't hate CANADIAN bands! I'm in
a canadian band...I just hat bands LIKE Our Lady Peace, because of the
massive and undeserved media push, just because they are canadian. I also
disagree with you that "most canadian bands are watered down". On the
contrary, I believe most american bands to be either living in their own
version of 1977, and not doing a good job of it, or they're clones of
something else...Geez, I mean, MuchMusic and the Canadian media are bad,
But what the hell is MTV? I'm more sick of Radio pushing these American/
British bands, and playing their songs 4 times an hour, and they SUCK!!!
The point I was trying to make is, I'm glad there is a media format to
support different kinds of music, but I hate the overkill...by the way I
