We are a group of four students from the University of Aarhus, Denmark, who are currently following a course on Rural Development conducted by Dr. Frands Dolberg. During this course we plan to do a project adressing the question of integrated and biological pest management strategies. As a part of the project, we would like look at the influence of Indigenous Knowledge on these issues. We hope that you would be willing to help us on this matter, either by providing us with some information on the linkage between indigenous knowledge and pest management strategies, if such information is available, or with information concerning the underpinnings of the studies on indigenous knowledge. If you have the time to help us on this matter, we can be reached on E-mail ecomus11@ecostat.aau.dk. If other channels of information would be more appropriate, please contact us on this address and we will find another solution. (e.g. fax.) All the best Ghita, Bjarke, Guillermo and Troels .
