Petersen" To: mediawatch@u.washington.edu Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII both KOMO and King 5 did this horrible thing with their coverage of the gay pride parade where they mentioned it inside the context of the Exodus international group which is holding its seminar on how to make homosexuals go straight, and then they show a few seconds of pictures of a naked lesbian on a motorcycle and the narrator asks "are 'these people' born this way?", then they explain the controversy over Exodus. the Stranger was quite right about Pride being a reaction, but seeing where the rest of the country outside capitol hill is, they sort of need balanced news coverage. .
