Dear list,

Does anyone know the origin of the term 'teubnerization' (or should we now
replace it with 'sauration'?) in the meaning of 'editing a text with
scrupulous textual commentary', or similar? And that reminds me of a
pseudo-Greek verb 'loebizomai' in the meaning of (if I remember
correctly) 'use a Loeb edition as a basis'. The latter has been mentioned
on this list before, but it was some years ago and I cannot seem to find
that posting. Does anyone remember? And are there any other classical puns
like these?
