I got an AOPen 56 ITU modem for Linux use and it works great. However, I
cannot seem to get it to install in Windblows98. My mainboard is a little
old fashioned (Tyan S1563Dual) so it has the moouse running on COM 1, IRQ
3. The modem can have com and IRQ's adjusted so i'm just fooling around
with it in both winblows and Linux until it t until i get it to work in
both. 

so, is there a hardware diag/or ls command that can tell me what com port
this modem is communicating on in lllinux?
