All of the SGFP revision committee members are subscribed to this list and you have been added to the list as well. Instructions To post a list message, address it to FORENSICGUIDELINES@U.WASHINGTON.EDU (capitals or small letters doesn't matter) or use the reply button on your email program. Do not use "reply to all" as it may generate multiple messages. In the body of each of your posts, please sign your name and indicate your email address so others can easily send mail to you directly. You can only post from your registered email address. If your address becomes unavailable to receive the FORENSICGUIDELINES mail posts, the UW listproc software will automatically delete you from the list when it gets certain error messages from your server. Just let me or Randy know if you stop getting posts and we will reinstate you. If you use more than one email address, be aware that messages that you may try to post from the other address will get rejected by Listproc. Your subscription and postings are checked for security by sending address, not by name. If you want to be able to post and/or receive from more than one address, let me know and we'll set you up a second registered mailing address. As you may be aware, the AAFP list has a "no attachments" policy to prevent spreading viruses. We don't think that that is necessary for such a small group of us and we'll probably want to share drafts using attachments, but please do be careful because viruses love to travel this way. All attached files should end only in *.doc (for Word files) or *.wpd (for WordPerfect files). Stu will convert files for anyone who needs files in another format. Let him know at stuartg@u.washington.edu. There will probably be some address issue bugs for awhile, but after we sort them out, using a discussion list like this has proven itself well for AAFP and for the ABFP Board. We think you'll like it. You may occasionally get a message, or an error message, from "Listproc@u.washington.edu". That is the software that controls the list. Posts do not go to that address. Post messages only to forensicguidelines@u.washington.edu. Stu will take care of any address change issues for us. Just send him a note at stuartg@u.washington.edu regarding what you'd like, e.g. vacation hold, new address, two addresses, etc. Contact either of us if we can be of help in any way. Stu will be list monger for us, but Randy is in charge of how this all will work. Please be aware that all posts to the list are being archived.
