This iniciative was born last summer in Tampa in the context of the world Congress of non Linear Analysts and the Second S-System Symposium. There will be lectures, poster sesions, and a software market, where the following topics will be considered : - Metabolic Control Analysis (Applications and further development). - Biochemical System Theory (Applications and further development). - Model definition in intact biochemical systems. - Validation and modification of models based on in vitro data. - (The search for) desing principles in biochemistry. - Optimization and evolution of metabolic pathways. - Canonical non-linear modelling. - Case studes. The organizing comitee is a scientific organization without capital. All the participants organizations pay for their travel, board and registration. However the meeting is cosponsored partially by University of Barcelona and BTK (Biotermokinetics international group). So, a very little budget from BTK is available to be used to give partial economical support to people from BTK group that really need partial economical support.
