It would be extremely helpful to induce asynapsis in order to see if my probes hybridize only one of the homologous chromosomes or both (the deficiency is not directly detectable in the chromosomes). Does anybody know if there is any way to induce asynapsis in the salivary glands chromosomes? Thank you very much. Ruth .
