Our approach uses Drosophila melanogaster to identify and characterize novel genes (see Research in the Baker Lab http://fruitfly4.aecom.yu.edu/index.html). Successful candidates will have research interests in developmental signalling pathways, the nervous system, or in the developmental control of cell proliferation and cell death. Salary will be on the NIH scale ( currently $31,092-$60,325 according to experience, plus benefits). The Albert Einstein College of Medicine is located in a residential suburb of New Yor City.
