Greetings. de Jong et al (2002) wrote a physical-mathematical paper 
entitled: A model of the escape of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum ascopores from 
pasture. Ecological Modelling 150, 83-105. "it also includes ideas from 
models  for barley, and rice." It is free available: If you send a request 
for a PDF-file to meindert.dejong@wur.nl I would be happy to forward this 
PDF file in an attachment. Besides I would like to deliver in person the
