Projects involve the use of digital imaging technology, neuronal cell culture, molecular biology, and protein biochemistry to examine signal transduction events that target cytoskeletal proteins of dendrites and synapses. Our laboratory=92s emphasis is on protein-protein interactions in living neurons. The laboratory is equipped for state-of-the-art confocal and conventional fluorescence microscopy and three-dimensional image processing. Candidates with experience in these and other techniques of cellular and molecular neurobiology may apply by sending a letter of interest, CV, and names of references to: Dr. Shelley Halpain Department of Cell Biology The Scripps Research Institute 10550 North Torrey Pines Road La Jolla, CA 92037 email: shelley@scripps.edu Scripps Home Page: www.scripps.edu .
