Only one school that made the top 10 3 years ago--Stanford University--slipped off the list, dropping from ninth to 12th place. It's been replaced by Columbia University, which was 11th in 1997. NIH funding for these heavyweights grew by roughly 40% from 1997 to 2000--keeping pace with the expansion of NIH's budget over the same period. > << Subject: Biophysics grad school From: iwitten@Princeton.EDU (Ilana Witten) Date: Mon, Mar 26, 2001 9:15 PM Message-id: <3ABC2707.46372B0E@princeton.edu> I am an undergraduate physics major at Princeton, earning a Biophysics Certificate. I would like to go to grad school in biophysics, but I have no idea which programs are strongest. I am interested in nearly every field of quantitative biology, except perhaps crystallography (no offense intended towards structural biologists). Does anyone know of any rankings or other type of list that will help me to make an informed decision about which biophysics grad school to attend? Thanks.
