Holiday mail, freezing weather and institutional closings all contribute to an unacceptably high death rate for shipments made shortly before the holidays. In addition, we are short-staffed during the holidays and time normally spent on order processing needs to be diverted to stock maintenance. Please plan ahead and order any stocks you will need during the last half of December or the first half of January before the December 13th deadline. The schedule: Last order date of 2000 -- Orders for 50 or fewer stocks in our hands by 12 noon EST on Wednesday, December 13, 2000, will be shipped December 15. Orders for more than 50 stocks may be delayed until the new year, depending on demand. For shipment outside the US we strongly recommend that you order no later than noon on December 8 for shipment on December 11 to assure that you receive your stocks before the holidays. First shipments of 2001 -- Orders for 50 or fewer stocks received after the December 13 deadline through noon on December 29, 2000, will be shipped January 3 or January 5, 2001. Larger orders may be delayed until the week of January 8, 2001, depending on demand.
