I received a lot of really helpful responses, and since then I realize that I must only mimmick the surface quality of the lung surft., most importantly, the time it takes to recover from a disturbance of the surface. I guess I would need something of high molecular weight, and large colloid size. If someone could suggest a surfactant for this, I know that a complete model of a lung surft. is complicated but a ball-park version of one (trade name, and chem. company if known), would be all I need. If anyone could help me, I'd appreciate it. Thanks again, Theodore Khoury khoury@ccwf.cc.utexas.edu .
