We would be interested in joining a network applying for Insect, and more particularly Drosophila, genome analysis, and study of evolution and development. Our model organism is the species Drosophila auraria, a species of the montium subgroup of the melanogaster species group, as well as other montium species occupying the montium geographical distribution. We realize that there is only very little time left, but we are willing to contribute in the proposal as well as in the diversification of the network, both from a scientific and geographical viewpoint. Please let us know whether there is any interest, and we will come back to you immediately. Contact: Dr Z.
