If you select the "web only" interface, you get pop-ups. The other advantage is member sections, for files, internet bookmarks etc etc. To avoid excess spam be cautious when setting up a yahoo profile, do not select an interest in free offers or anything additional and if asked about your income bracket always select impoverished figures. If the list moves, I'll upload an anti pop-up programme, so web only users won't have to put up with too much yahoo crap. I don't think this list is dead, just thoughtful ;-). I certainly have a lot of questions I'd like to ask but don't want to appear too stupid in the asking. I imagine others feel the same. Are you the moderator Bart? I thought it was Athel, but I'm often wrong. If you need help or advise setting up the yahoo group let me know. I've done a few of them. Len...
