Has anyone in the worm community tried using the double-mutant BFP protein Y66H Y145F described by Heim and Tsien in Current Biology 1996 vol. 6 no. 2? Can the fluorescence be distinguished from GFP by using normal or special filter sets? Is the bleaching so bad that the BFP signal cannot be detected with high speed film or a CCD camera? Thanks Paul .
