I am searching about a book with the topic "trying to explain genetic behaviour (or animal behaviour) with physical laws as the minimum energy principle" , in fact with any physical law. I donīt mean processes like the substitution of a molecule in a DNA string but How can physical laws explain that a gene tells an animal to do something? Shed a light on me, please !!! . Maybe it is simple but I donīt have an academic background in biology and I canīt see it. I have heard about a book, "the astonishing hypothesis " (F. Crick), Is it about it?? , Is it good??? Thank you very much indeed !!!!!!!! laetoli@teleline.es Salutaciones .
