Can we not fix this newsgroup so that only subscribers whose email
addresses are recorded at BIONET as subscribers can post?  This works
very well for another list I am on.

For the occassional person who is not subscribed but wishes to post, the
inbound mail could be forwarded to a "moderator" or rota of such.
