The successful candidate will be responsible for generating transgenic flies and carrying out specific breeding programmes with Drosophila strains, and will participate in molecular screening for homologous genes in various insects. Qualifications: HNC (Biology/Biological Sciences/Biochemistry); preferably 7-8 years' experience including molecular biology and/or genetics.
