The mutant elav is too close to yellow and hence I am not able to use that. I was wondering if there are any embryonic visible mar- ker that will allow me to pick up my mutants without needing to fix them for immunohistochemistry. I need to collect these embryos for doing westerns. I was thinking in lines of a cuticular marker, but the one I need sho- uld not affect the development of the nervous system. If you have any ideas/thoughts please send a reply either to this address or to Koushika@binah.cc.brandeis.edu Thankyou, Sandhya Koushika .
