I'm a second year graduate student working on my PhD qualifying exam. I
am proposing to do a genetic screen in Drosophila and am unsure about my
choice of mutagen. Could someone please give me a few pros and cons
regarding P-element vs EMS mutant screens? (I am screening for
enhancers/suppressors of a particular mutant phenotype)
