My institute is insisting that I wear a face mask when doing fly work because I am an asthmatic, and MAY develop an allergy to flies. No-one else has to wear one. Has anyone else heard of this - wearing fly masks for fly pushing? Does anyone know about the evidence for fly allergies, in particular whether asthmatics are more susceptible? Many thanks, Charly -- Charlotte Hiley Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research Courtauld Building 91 Riding House Street London W1W 7BS Email: c.hiley@ucl.ac.uk Phone: 0207-878-4045 --- .
