I am thinking of making an oligonucleotide chip and I am looking for software which helps me in designing the oligos. My idea is that repetetive sequences should be eliminated, that stemloop, GC-content, length etc should be adjusted, and that specificity should be checked e.g. by blasting of the oligosequence against databases. I was searching the net a little bit for (ideally free) software that might serve my purpose - without much success. Maybe some of you can help me. Thanks in advance! W.Z. .
