I wonder if anyone knows where is the best source on various values of Keq, equilibrium constant. I am particularly interested in the following reactions: 1) gluconate + ATP -----> 6-phosphogluconate(6PG) + ADP phosphorylation 2) 6PG -----> 2-keto-3-deoxy-phosphogluconate + H20 dehydration 3) 6PG + NADP ------> ribulose 5-phosphate + CO2 + NADPH dehydrogenation & decarboxylation Also, what do people usually do to determine the Keq value experimentally? Thanks a lot for the information. -- Ing-Nang Wang ingnang@sbbiovm.sunysb.edu .
