New FlyBase releases and updates.

Two new databases have been released today and one other updated.

The two new databases are of genetic data on two species of Drosophila
other than Drosophila melanogaster -- D. ananassae and D. buzzatii.

The D. ananassae data are thanks to Y. Tobari - they are in the file:

  flybase/allied-data/other-species/ananassae.txt

(Documentation in flybase/allied-data/other-species/ananassae.doc).

The D. buzzatii data are thanks to J.S.F. Barker - they are in the file:

  flybase/allied-data/other-species/buzzatii.txt

(Documentation in flybase/allied-data/other-species/buzzatii.doc).


The file of errors found in Lindsley and Zimm (1992) has been updated.

It is in: flybase/docs/redbook/errors.txt.

Finally the documentation file for the recent update of the genes file 
- data on over 6,700 Drosophila genes and over 18,000 alleles - is in
flybase/genes/genes94.doc.
