I use both anti beta gal and X gal staining to pick up mutant embryos which are not positive for Wg lac Z. Does the expression of Wg lacz come up in all stages of embryonic development? What are the stages in which selection is most favourable? What is the Stage at which the homozygous Balancer animals (Cyo wg lacZ ) die? If embryonic, what stage? Do the Homozygous Cyo Wg Lac Z balancer animals have any embryonic segmental phenotype? Thank you for your kind attention With regards GURUDATTA -- Kereya Neeranu Kerage Challi ! - Shri PurandharaDasaru GURUDATTA B.V Research Fellow E213 CCMB Uppal Road Hyderbad INDIA 500 007 Cell phone 9849 676 413 phone +91+40+27192618 VKP lab 271926337 Room N0 25 Hostel 27192783/27192743 Flylab fax :+91+40 +27160591 +91+40+ 27160311 Alt e mail datta@ccmb.res.in http://www.ccmb.res.in --- .
