The position is for a Eukaryotic Molecular Geneticist (Position F9608), whose research addresses evolutionary questions. Applicants must be capable of teaching molecular genetics, introductory genetics, and evolution. The department has 22 faculty with graduate program concentrations in Ecology and Organismal Biology, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Physiology, and General Biology. The successful applicant will be expected to develop a research program capable of attracting external funding, and participate in graduate programs and an emerging new undergraduate curriculum. The position requires a Ph.D., teaching experience, and productive research.
