X-Nntp-Posting-Host: tastiger.dbe.csiro.au Message-ID: Sender: news@news.nsw.CSIRO.AU Organization: CSIRO Date: Tue, 18 Feb 1997 05:19:08 GMT Lines: 18 Xref: biosci bionet.molbio.methds-reagnts:54953 bionet.cellbiol:6678 Does anybody know if 293 cells (Human Embryonic Kidney) tolerate serum-free or reduced serum culture medium, and for how long? I'm hoping to purify a protein secreted from a stable 293 line, and the less serum I can get away with, the easier it will be. Many thanks, Lloyd. ------------------------------------------------------------ Name: Dr L.D.
