I would like to find one that is in a prokaryotic vector that has phage promoters (T7 or sp6) on either side of the gene. I would like to use it to make sense transcripts. I would prefer to have it in the T7 orientation. I intend to use it to quantitate levels of messages in cells. I understand that this is a particuliarly good gene to normalize input of rna in assays like rpa's or tagman assays. If you have information to the contrary I would be interested in that also. I am currently using b-actin, but I understand that this message fluctuates depending on the treatment of the cells because it has a serum promoter. I would appreciate help in obtaining the clone and any information pertaining to the suitability of using gadph to normalize rna input in assays used to quantitate levels of rna.
