The appointee will play a crucial role in recruiting at least two lecturers, providing an opportunity to build a critical mass in a chosen area. Suitable research areas include, but are not restricted to, molecular genetic or cell biological analysis of development in C. elegans or Drosophila, areas which complement the existing strengths of the School and the John Innes Centre in population genetics, plant molecular genetics, cancer studies, microbial molecular genetics and structural studies of biomolecules. For further particulars and an application form can be obtained from Mr M G E Paulson-Ellis, Registrar and Secretary, University of East Anglia, Norwich, NR4 7TJ (telephone 01603-593648 to be returned by 30 September 1996).
