I am doing a take home test on the Pentose Phosphate Pathway and am running into truble. My textbook says that NADP+ is a coenzyme and some of the reserch I have found says that NADP+ is a substrate. How can this be? I have to diagram the pathway and how it is regulated. I also need to lable enzymes, substrates, coezymes and product. I think I have most of it dawn but, am very unsure of it and cannot go to instructor with questions. Anyones help would be very much appreciated. Thank You .
