Our lab studies the molecular and cellular mechanisms of cell fate determination in early embryogenesis, using C. elegans as a model system. We seek a motivated individual with a strong interest in science. You will have the opportunity to participate in research projects utilizing molecular biology techniques, microscopy, and genetics. Other duties involve lab organization, including ordering supplies, and maintaining lab stocks. A bachelors degree is required and some previous laboratory experience is desirable. The U.C.H.S.C offers a stimulating scientific environment and is located in a sunny and pleasant city at the foot of the Rocky Mountains.
