I have found a few examples in which proteins have been transgenically expressed and immunostained using a myc tag specific monoclonal Ab, however all of these genes were expressed behind a heat shock promoter. Do any of you know of a case in which someone has tagged a gene that is driven by its endogenous promoter and sucessfully immunostained tissues from the transgenic flies?
