Welcome!

This information is provided by the Admissions & Relations with Schools Office
at the University of California, Irvine.  The data provided is regarding
undergraduate applicants.  Address questions and comments about this section 
to Deborah Duhigg at daduhigg@uci.edu.

The reports found here are generated every weekend.  They reflect comparisons
based on either Academic Units or Ethnicity of admission status totals between 
the current quarter and the year before.  

In addition to a comprehensive status summary for the current cycle, seperate 
comparative reports are available for Applied, Admitted, Accepted (intends to 
register), and Fees Paid.

Seperate reports are available for each of the above for High School, 
Advanced Standing, California Community College, and All (total) applicants.

Definitions:

    High School:                  Applicants coming straight from high school

    Advanced Standing:            Applicants transfering from another 
                                  college or university (includes 2nd Baccs)

    Calif. Community College:     Applicants transfering from Calif. Community
                                  college; subset of Advanced Standing

    All Applicants:               HS & AS combined

    Application Tape Processing:  processing period before data is fully
                                  available via regular means.  Allows for
                                  comprehensive summaries when processing
                                  takes longer due to large volume of
                                  applications during a short period.

        Applications received:    Received on tape (may not be fully processed)
 
        Applications Integrated:  Student number assigned, and data integrated
                                  into primary system; NOT entered/verified.

        Applications Entered:     User has verified primary data; application
                                  ready for review process.

        Applications Pre-Evaled:  Application has been reviewed and has been
                                  assigned a pre-evaluation code.
