    PUBYAC, a new listserve discussion group that focuses on
                         Library Services to
            Children and Young Adults in Public Libraries.

This discussion group is intended to be one of practical appeal, focusing on
programming ideas, outreach and literacy programs for children and caregivers,
censorship issues, children and young adult collection development,
administrative considerations, job openings, professional development, and
other pertinent services or issues.

A plan exists to eventually build up an electronic resource center which
will comprise programming "kits" designed especially for use in public
libraries.
