================================================================================ RED CIENTIFICA PERUANA NOTIRED ================================================================================ PLEASE POST!! Dear K-12 folks, John Clement and I (Janice Abrahams) are doing an outline for a book on K-12 networking. This book is being designed to: * Introduce Educators to the net * Provide information on what educators are doing with their peers and their classes * Give some background and instruction on IR tools and email (letters and lists) * Talk about project development * And generally help folk get started - this means some discussion of connection options, community involvement etc. What we want to know from you all as those who live in the trenches, is what you would think is most important. What YOU think would differentiate a K-12 Internet primer from other internet books? What do teachers need to know that is specific to their lives and vocation? What issues do you find most important? What information do you (and your newbie or potential newbie) peers need the most? Feel free to reply to ME (janice@kudzu.cnidr.org) OR discuss it on the list! We would really appreciate the help of the K-12 net community! Thank you! Janice Abrahams and John Clement .
