================================================================================ RED CIENTIFICA PERUANA NOTIRED ================================================================================ A new beta-test version of the Hytelnet software for Unix and VMS systems is now available for anonymous ftp from access.usask.ca (128.233.3.1). The Unix version is in /pub/hytelnet/unix/hytelnet3b2.tar.Z. The VMS version is in the /pub/hytelnet/vms/test directory. Please send bug reports to earl.fogel@usask.ca. New Features There is now an index, which you can search by typing 'i', followed by a case-insensitive search string. Only the titles of documents are indexed, not the full text. Several additional commands are recognized, including ftp, rlogin, finger, and (for Janet users) pad. For example: telnet sklib.usask.ca rlogin access.usask.ca -l hytelnet ftp access.usask.ca or 128.233.3.1 finger aurora@xi.uleth.ca pad uk.ac.sussex.library You can put arbitrary system commands in angle brackets, and you can hide them to make prettier links: Who's There?
