l        Unpack the file using the commands:
         uncompress gopherx.xx.tar.Z
         tar -xf gopherx.xx.tar
l        Edit conf.h to point to your default server
l        the gopher client
l        gopher available to your users

l        Build the xgopher client
l        Make xgopher available to your users
