Measures, predicts, evaluates, tests, counsels and instructs
patients with speech and language problems. Plans and directs
programs to restore communicative efficiency of individuals with
communication problems of organic and nonorganic etiology.        
                            

AGE:              No requirement

CITIZENSHIP:      Not required. If foreign born, must provide
                  proof of legal entry into the United States.

RESIDENCY:        No requirementRECIPROCITY:      Yes

EDUCATION AND     Master's degree in appropriate field.
   EXPERIENCE:    Two hundred seventy-five hours of supervised
                  clinical experience, 150 of which were during
                  graduate study and supervised clinical
                  fellowship equivalent to nine months of full
                  time employment.
                  Successfully pass the National Teacher's
                  Examination (NTE), or hold certificate of
                  Clinical Competence in Speech-Language 
                  Pathology or Audiology from the American
                  Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
                  Be of good moral character.
