Provides assistance to individuals and groups with problems such
as poverty, illness, family maladjustment, antisocial behavior
and financial mismanagement. Interviews and counsels with
clients, helps them to modify attitudes or patterns of behavior
and to use available resources productively.

RECIPROCITY:      Yes EDUCATION AND     Certified Social Worker:
   EXPERIENCE:      Master's degree from a school accredited by
                    the Council on Social Work Education.
                    Pass American Association of State Social
                    Work Boards (AASWB) intermediate level
                    examination.
                  Certified Independent Clinical Social Worker:
                    Meet requirements for Clinical Social Worker.
                    Pass AASWB clinical level examination.
                    At least 24 months of experience under
                    supervision.
                    For both certificates, must be of good
                    character.
