Evaluates needs of average, gifted, and disturbed children and
children with disabilities within educational system and plans
and carries out programs to enable children to attain maximum
achievement and adjustment. Conducts diagnostic studies, consults
with parents and school personnel, plans special placement or
other treatment programs.

   EXPERIENCE:      Advanced degree in school psychology.
                  Five year professional certificate:
                    Complete six graduate credits in advanced
                    psychology.
                    Complete three years as a school psychologist
                    in Rhode Island.
                  Life professional certificate:
                    Six years experience as a school
                    psychologist, three of which 
                    must be in Rhode Island.
                    Doctorate or CAGS in School Psychology.
