Drives bus to transport pupils between pickup points and school.

AGE:              At least 21 years and not over 65 years

CITIZENSHIP:      No requirement

RESIDENCY:        Required

RECIPROCITY:      No 

EDUCATION AND     Have held a motor vehicle operator's license
   EXPERIENCE:    for at least three years. Complete a School Bus
                  Driver training course of at least 20 hours.
                  Instruction must include classroom and behind-  
                  the-wheel training by an instructor certified
                  by the R.I. Division of Motor Vehicles.R.I. EXAMINATION: Eye test and physical examination by a licensed
                  physician.
                  Annual randomly administered drug test.

RENEWAL:          Every year- School Bus Driver Certificate

FEES:             CDL Application:                $ 10.00
                  Each CDL endorsement:           $ 10.00
                  Transfer (to chauffeur):        $ 10.00
                  Renewal (CDL):                  $ 50.00
