PROSTHETIST

Provides care to patients with partial or total absence of limb
with devices known as prostheses.  

AGE:              No requirement

CITIZENSHIP:      Not required. If foreign born, must provide
                  proof of legal entry into the United States.

RESIDENCY:        No requirement

RECIPROCITY:      No EDUCATION AND     Be of good moral character.
   EXPERIENCE:    Have at least a bachelor's degree in orthotics
                  and/or prosthetics from a program approved by
                  the American Board for Certification in
                  Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC).
                  Complete at least one year (1900 hours) of
                  experience in the field.
                  Pass ABC written and clinical examination.
                  NOTE:  For alternate requirements, consult ABC
