PLUMBER (Apprentice, Journeyperson, Master)

Installs, alters and repairs pipes, fittings and fixtures for
heating water, water supply and waste disposals in homes and
commercial buildings. Follows building plans and instructions,
lays out job and works with tools. 


AGE:              No requirement

CITIZENSHIP:      Not required. If foreign born, must be legal
                  resident of the United States.

RESIDENCY:        No requirement

RECIPROCITY:      NoEDUCATION AND     Apprentice registration:
   EXPERIENCE:      No educational requirement.
                  Journeyperson license:
                    Practice as registered apprentice plumber in
                    R.I. for four years, OR complete two years of
                    trade school or college study in plumbing or
                    sanitary engineering and worked two years as
                    a registered apprentice.
                  Master Plumber license:
                    Hold Journeyperson's license for one year or
                    longer.

BONDING:          $3,000 (Master Plumber only)
