PESTICIDE APPLICATOR (Commercial, Private and Dealer)

Use pesticides either on their own premises or on the premises of
others who have hired them for this purpose. Dealers sell
restricted and state limited use pesticides.


AGE:              18 years or older

CITIZENSHIP:      No requirement

RESIDENCY:        No requirement

RECIPROCITY:      YesEDUCATION AND     Private applicator certificate:
   EXPERIENCE:      Complete URI/DEM sponsored 16 hour training
                    in the general use of pesticides.
                  Commercial applicator license:
                    Same requirement as for Private Applicator.
                  Commercial applicator certificate:
                    In addition to the 16 hour training required
                    for the commercial applicator license,
                    complete eight hours of training on safe
                    use of pesticides.
                  Dealer License:
                    Have a fixed distribution center.
                    Complete URI/DEM sponsored core training
                    program.
