Sells insurance of a variety of types and from different
companies to new and present clients, recommending amount
and type of coverage based on analysis of prospect's
circumstances. May collect premiums and keep record of payments.


AGE:           18 years or older

CITIZENSHIP:   No requirement

RESIDENCY:     No requirement

RECIPROCITY:   Yes 
EDUCATION AND  Must complete courses approved by the Insurance
   EXPERIENCE:   Commissioner, including instruction related to
                 general casualty, or life or health insurance. 
               Must pass a State Police Bureau of Criminal
                 Identification check.

BONDING:       $2500 required of brokers of other than life
                 insurance.
