Operates one or more of the following:  conveyer belt, concrete
belt, payload backhoe, overhead electric crane or drilling rig in
order to move workers and materials for construction, sawmill,
mining and other industrial operations.

AGE:           18 years or older

CITIZENSHIP:   No requirement

RESIDENCY:     No requirement

RECIPROCITY:   No  
EDUCATION AND  Serve three-year union apprenticeship or may be
EXPERIENCE:      self-taught. 
               Limited License A:
                 Valid only for operating equipment specified on
                 license.
               Limited License B:
                 Valid only for work done under the employment of
                 one employer.
               Full License:
                 Valid for operating all hoisting and excavating
                 equipment.

R.I. EXAM:     Written for Hoisting Engineer only; oral
               examination available.
