EDUCATION AND   Apprentice registration: No educational
   EXPERIENCE:    requirement. 
                Journeyperson license:
                  Complete 8000 hours or 4 years of practical
                  experience working for licensed fire alarm
                  installer.                Register with licensing agency when starting
                  training.
                Master (Contractor) license:
                Have journeyperson's license for two years or
                  longer and complete 10,000 hours of related
                  experience.
                NOTE:  For alternate requirements, consult
                  licensing agency.
