Conducts sales of goods or services by verbal bids or hand or
similar signals.

AGE:           Auctioneer: 18 years or older
               Apprentice: 16 years or older

CITIZENSHIP:   No requirement;  if foreign born, must be legal
               resident of the United States.

RESIDENCY:     No requirement

RECIPROCITY:   Yes

R.I. EXAM:     Written;  required of non-apprentices only.EDUCATION AND  Apprentice must have served under supervision of
  EXPERIENCE:    licensed auctioneer for at least six months or
                 have graduated from an approved school of 
                 auctioneering and served for three months under
                 supervision of a licensed auctioneer.
               May be required to take examination.

BONDING:       $2000 for all applicants

RENEWAL:       Every three years

FEES:          Resident:          $105.00
               Non-resident:      $225.00
               Apprentice:        $ 60.00
               Application:       $ 10.00
               Examination:       $ 15.00
